ENSURING FAIR HOUSING FOR ALL

Piedmont Housing Alliance's Fair Housing Program promotes equal housing opportunity and is the regional provider of fair housing education, outreach, and advocacy services. Our goal is to raise awareness and promote compliance with federal and state civil rights laws that protect us from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, familial status (presence of children in the household), and elderliness in the rental, sale, and financing of housing.

Our major services include responding to housing discrimination complaints and compliance questions, conducting fair housing training seminars, and creating comprehensive public awareness campaigns and educational materials.
